Stephany and Michael met in the 2010s when Stephany worked at the Montgomery Village Great Clips. She cut his hair along with his son, Brandon, hair as well. She was always bubbly and super energetic when talking to both Michael and Brandon but Michael never thought anything of it. On a side note, she swiped left on Michael while both were on a dating app during this time. Stephany thought she needed a country cowboy type and only got faux “cowboys” and white-trash.

In 2020 during the pandemic, Michael came in for his last hair cut, by the way not cut by Stephany, and informed her that his life trajectory was changing and he was moving to Virginia.

As time passed, Michael's career took off and was able to move back to California. During the first few days back, Michael went to the Great Clips in Montgomery Village to get his haircut but it wasn't cut by Stephany. Once Michael's hair was cut, Stephany was getting back from her lunch not in the greatest mood. They both exchanged passing greetings and then Stephany asked Michael, “I thought you moved away?”. As Michael responded with, “I'm back” and left Great Clips. Here is the problem, Stephany was now curious about Michael. She looked up the credit card receipt to find Michael's last name so she could find him on Facebook, when Michael had social media. She added him to her Facebook. The two started chatting almost immediately followed by their first date within a few days of their first communication.

As time went on, the dating turned to much more with the first major life changing event when Stephany and Michael went to “look” at a dog. They ended up with a cute and crazy puppy named Ed. The second major life changing event was when Stephany moved in a couple months later. Michael's life has not been the same since with chaos of both Ed and Stephany.

On November 15, 2025 after many times at the hospital for Michael that year, Michael proposed to Stephany at the place Michael and Stephany had their first date, Spring Lake. And she said yes.
